ok well createblog.com teaches you and some xanga layout sites have a thing on it that teaches you. you dont need any programs but they always help like i use print shop pro. you will prb need a photobucket.com account. If you have any questions about it i have a layout site XDevys_layoutsX. i can help you but i will not directly teach you

you can get codes from other layout makers sites and fill in your information. that's juss an easier way.

you dont really need those stuff only if you want to make a banner btu you can find some banners on peoples xanga site but this is what you need to make the layout

you dont need a program to make an actual layout code - if you want to make a banner than you would need psp7 8 or 9 -- or photoshop. - or if you justr want to put some pictures as a banner than yeah you could use paint.

If you're going to make a skin, then you may need to use a paint program but those are harder to code. You just need to use a CSS stylesheet to make a layout. If you go to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location), you can search for a stylesheet there.
