i am going in gymnactics soon and i want to be able to do a slit, i want to suprize my teacher. so can anyone give me tips on how to do one?

Your best bet is to just work down to it. Stretch out a lot and then try to do a split. The more you practice the closer you will get to doing one. Just remember - MAKE SURE YOU STRETCH FIRST!!! ]
Well do you mean split? lol well why do you wanna suprise your gymnastics teacher? i mean she is your GYMNASTICS TEACHER! Let her help you, im mean she is professional.. id hope. But i cheer on my middleschool team and i know we just stretch alot and sit in the split position and hold it and eventually you will be able to go all the way down ]
