Mackenzie answered Thursday August 11 2005, 2:08 am: "Jocking" and "hot linking" is where you copy/take/steal layouts, icons, graffics and so on WITHOUT giving credit to the supplier. [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
Karen answered Sunday August 7 2005, 11:29 am: Jocking means taking something from someone and not giving any credit to that person.
Hot linking means taking something from someone and keeping the same URL and not saving it to your computer and uploading to an image hosting site yourself.

Hot linking-Basicially, you right clicked and put it on your site. You need to save it to your computer and upload it to your own photobucket or whatever else site you may have account.
UNICORN answered Sunday August 7 2005, 1:16 am: "hot linking" i do believe means using the same URL as them. or rather not saving the image on your computer and hosting it yourself. (i recommend tinypic.com or photobucket.com to use for hosting) =) <3Beth [ UNICORN's advice column | Ask UNICORN A Question ]

MummuM answered Saturday August 6 2005, 11:06 pm: They both mean the same thing; to take something that is not yours, in other words, stealing.
