Tips on approaching a guy who likes you but is shy on you.
i have this guy in our neighborhood who likes me. but the problem is he is shy around me... what should i do?

You should try to make the first move. Show him that you comfortable around him and he should be to. Show him that you have an intrest in him and just be friendly. Tell something funny so he laughs, laugh at his jokes, get him to talk about him, smile alot, you could even like touch his arm or something. Hope it all goes great!

be really friendly around him! like if you're talking to him and hes just saying like "uh huh..yeah.." and stuff like that ask him questions that require more then a one word answer. hes just worried you don't like him back and he doesn't wanna look stupid. just act comfortable around him and once he sees you're not shy he'll start to be less shy. if you DO like him back then tell him! but if you don't you should tell him that too. or you could just be realy mean to him and ignore him. but i think it'd be easier for him if you just came out and told him how you feel about him and then see how it goes from there!

If you like him try to get to know him. If you like him you have to be patient, just keep trying to talk to him he will soon open up. but don't come on too strong you will frighten him off!

Well first, do you like him? And are you sure about that? Because you don't want to play with his "delicate" feelings. You should walk up to him and just act normal. Talk about the weather, anything. Its also a good idea to get his screen name or email. In time, he will get used to talking to you, and become less shy.

You should probably try to make him comfortable, or talk to him about his shyness and ask him why he is shy, maybe it's just a problem he has, I'm pretty sure he'll open up if you hang around him long enough.

hmm.. you should ask him if he has AIM or for his number. then kind-of get to know him that way. i know that its easier for shy people to talk online and what-not then it is for them in person. just a suggestion.
