Okay so my boyfriend and I had sex. And now I am worried that I may be pregnant. I won't know for a few more weeks however. I thought i had pregnancy symptoms like I was really hungry, tired, and bitchy but then I was thinking about it and I get like that a week before I get my period. However I heard that even if you get your period that you could still be pregnant. I thought that was completely wrong but I am not sure. So can you be pregnant even if you get your period? I know you start spotting if your pregnant but your period and spotting are different. SO someone please help me out.

I am like 90% positive that you can't have your period when you're pregnant. A big sign that you're pregnant is if you get morning sickness.

There is alittle small chance of you getting pregnant when your on your period, I dont think that you can get pregnant if you do have your period because when you are pregnant you dont get a period so i just think your going to have your period soon..but i may not be right so dont relie on my answer..i hope i helped any

Yes you can get pregnant while on your period but the chance is pretty small. Some women also still get their periods (just like they usually do) while pregnant. If the symptoms continue after your period comes or your period doesn't come, I would get a home pregnancy test or see a doctor about a pregnancy test.

In some girls, you do have your period when your pregnant. My friend want to a doctor and he said she wouldn't be able to have a baby, cause she has like no uterus or something like that. Any way, over a peroid of 9 months, she had her regular periods and everything, but then one night, she was having stomach pains and was screaming in pain when she had her child. So, you may or may not, but it's more common not to have your period during pregnancy. Hope this helped, and take an EPT in 2 weeks.

Being really hungry, tired, and bitchy are not really signs of pregancy, that just sounds like bad mood. The best physical sign of pregancy is morning sickness, which can happen right away.
You can get your period if you are pregant although it not terribly likely.
My advice is relax, stress will also stop your period. Wait untill you are at least three days late, or even if you have your period and are still concerned, and take a home pregancy test.
But seriously, next time use protection and avoid this whole mess!

From what I know, it is only in rare cases that you will continue your period if pregnant. Preganncy isn't determined for a few weeks, as you mentioned, but if you get your period you most likely will not be pregnant. Here's some real good advice right here...HAVE HIM WEAR A CONDOM!!! If there is one thing you need to learn from this experience, is that unsafe sex is not something to play around with. That's great if you decide to move your relationship to the next level, but don't be stupid. Use protection next time, so you won't be going crazy as you probably are right now. It will save you a lot of worry and stress. Back to the topic, I have been told that it is only in rare cases that your period won't stop once you are pregnant.
