well i think conair is pretty good, but u need to get a cyramic one ( sp)... its like made of this stuff that straightens your hair without burning it and it works while your hair is wet too ( and dries it) and locks in the moisture from the water in your hair... im pretty sure you can get it pretty much anywhere but if you want a good selection go to ULTA

CHI iron...they are the best that I have ever seen and all the proffesionals use them....umm idk if they are sold in the stores but you can ask your hair dresser to order you one (thats what I did) But they are kinda expensive for a straightener.

I got mine at a hair salon called "TNT Hair Salon". It was about $200 but it works GREAT! My mom used it and her hair, which is natually VERY VERY curly, is now straight and it STAYS that way the entire way. It has ceramic plates and some have about 25 settings and little combs and stuff.

They work really good. If you want one a lot cheaper, you can go to Target and they have good ones for about $10-50. Some have ceramic plates and some have metal so be careful! I hope I was of assistance to you!

Best of luck!

Hope I helped!

♥ Kayla

The one that works really well for my hair is a Gold Ceramic straightener by Conair.

I have a Helen of Troy straightener that I'm using at this moment and it leaves your hair shiny. It defrizzes your hair also. You can find it at Sally's Beauty Supply for less than $100.
