myspace instant messenging friends

hey all i joined a site called myspace and im confused about how to instant message my friends on myspace it would be helpful if whoever answers this question has a myspace of there own that way they could tell me exactly what to do with out telling me the wrong thing.
i will rate 5's for reasonable answers

Ok on the person you want to instant message's profile page go to under the picture and name and junk and where theres like 8 boxes which say add to friends,send message,forword to friend...etc go to instant message, but you and the person you want to instant message ahs toi be ONLINE on MYSPACE...then click it and wait for her to accept...hope i help <3 me

do exaltly what the girl below mw said to do but one bad thing about myspace instant messangers is that they are really slow i mean REALLY slow they take forwver to load. !!!

Well first of all the other person has to be online too. If they are it will sat "online Now" underneath thier pic on your friends list. Then you click on "Instant Message" and then it will say connecting. They have to accept that you are sending them a message b4 you can chat. If someone is ending you a message it will appear in a whit box at the top of the window you have myspace opened in.

heyy you just click IM
like go to there myspace
and then youll see this little box
it says
"send a message"
"add to friends"
"block user"
"Instand Message"
click it and a little box will pop up.
but the user has to be online for it to work
