my sister has acid reflex and has been to the hospital atlest 18 times in one year.. i wouldnt blame her if she is completly tierd of it..she is fed up with it.. and when i was on vacation she um... cut her arm and my mom told me wut happened... i was so scared.. and when i think of ppl cutting themselves i think my sister would be the last person the earth to do someting like that.. shes really smart and has a loving family... my mom told me to say nothing..but im afraid to spend time with her becuase im scared... just really scared to face the fact... i didnt belive it untill i saw the wowned... i just wanted to break down and cry.. i asked her wut it was from and she said nothing.. the second time i asked she said she accsidentaly cut herself.... later that day i told her that i knew she was smart..that i look up to her.. and shes smart enought not to do n e thing stupid... im very scared.. can u please gve me some advice

Maybe give some free advice about: Families? fromYou2Me answered Saturday July 23 2005, 3:38 pm: this is a pretty dangerous situation. of course, someone who feels "different" from others would have a reason to do something like this... but in my personal opinion, that is no reason to cut yourself. i can imagine how you feel around her; but don't try to act unusual, or she'll feel even more uncomfortable. the best thing you can do for now is to remember that your sister is a smart person, and that she would never intentionally hurt herself... she might just be trying to cool herself down. also know that it's not your fault; you or your family should not be the reason she's doing this. you can't make her stop doing whatever she's doing; she might just get mad. basically just let her be, and hopefully it will die down soon. good luck to both of you.
