why does my vagina itch. hmmm. i dont do anythin nastry with myself but i read this thing and she did nasty stuff and and had problems with that... but i dont do that. my vagina itches and i dont like it!! PLEASE HELP. thanks

It could be one of many reasons. Thrush sounds likely in which case you may also be seeing a white discharge, although not necessarily.
Do you use vaginal deodorants? They are notorious for causing irritation. Either way, you really ought to seek the advice of your General Practioner.

An itching vagina is usually a sign of either a vaginal infection, a yeast infection, or possibly a STD. The best thing to do is go to the doctor to get checked out. Chances are it's just a yeast infection (which is completely natural...a lot of women get them) which can easily be treated with antibiotics or medicated creams.

Do you shave down there? That may be the problem, because most peoples vaginas are not dry, and don't get exposed to air, so when you shave, it itches. You could just be getting itchy warts down there, but not the std with warts, but just warts. Use vagisil or summers eve and wash down there. It should stop by then.
