Question Posted Tuesday July 19 2005, 5:56 pm

I have some questions about mostly everyhting that has to do with pleasuring your partner. I'm a virgin and unexperienced. Okay here goes...

Once you get on birth control or take the pill or whatever, is it possible for your parents to find out eventually?

Can your gyno tell if you're on the pill or birth control?

What are whipped cream & strawberries used for; like where do you place them and stuff?

How can you get rid of the odor down there? Are guys actually enjoying the smell of it? And if possible, is there anything you can eat/drink to make the smell/taste better?

What are the best type of condomns? Most effective?

Thanks in advance.

Not unless you are sloppy, and dont hide the pills when you have them at home. Your doctor, not just a gynocologist, is the one that perscribes them to you. You can make an appointment by yourself if you know how to do so, and get the perscription for you through your doctor. It is against the law for them to tell your parents ANYTHING that goes on in the rooms unless you consent for them to do so. Birthcontrol can get expensive though, so make sure you have a source of money before you hop on the pill.

Im not sure if what you are talking about is some kind of strange sex toy or the food, so I am just gonig to answer it like the food. I am sure they are just used as a type of foreplay, so the guy can have an excuse to lick all over you and suck. You can pretty much put them anywhere that you deem necessary, but try to stay away from getting it INSIDE the vagina.

THe odor is just part of your body. You can get rid of it by washing with scented soaps, try not to get too much actually inside of the vagina though. Alot of times its just sweat, i know it sounds gross but your crotch has to cool down too after being covered up all the time. Before you are seeing a guy, or he has the potentioal to go down there just shower before to get rid of the residual sweat and/or any other bacteria that may be hanging around down there making it icky.

As for foods to stay away from: fish and meats. It takes a LONG time for your vaginal secretions to change flavor though, probably 2 months at the least. And you'd have to nearly seclude yourself to just fruits and veggies to make it taste better. Smoking doesnt help the taste either. Also washing it regurlarly will help you with that as well.

I would assume guys like the smell, however not all guys like every girls smell. Its just a prefrence that some have, you are just going to ahve to be comfortable with the fact that you're not going to be able to please everyone.

All condoms are effective, however if you are
worried about sperm and pre-cum, try finding some that have spermicide in the lubricant. You might want to consult the guy about what kind is best for him to use, like what brand and all that. They also ahve different varities, like who gets the most pleasure and a way to extend the guys "going period". Really, id just say let the guy buy the condoms. But if you're on the pill for 2 or 3 months before you have sex, then you really dont need the condom.

1) If you tell them. It doesn't change anything about you so they wouldn't notice.

2)Again, only if you mention it. which you should. You can't get birth control pills without first seeing a gyno and getting an exam anyway so that's a moot point.

3)use your imagination. can put them anywhere you like!

4) Take a shower. Will always have an odor but ya, for some reason they think its great. No, don't think eating habits has much to do with it.

5) Don't think there is much difference in condom types. Just use one...and be careful :)

The only way your parents can find out is if they find the pills.

The gyno is the only one who can put you on the pill... so im kind of confused on how they wouldnt know. If youre taking someone else's pills or getting them from somewhere other than a gyno, i suggest you talk to your gyno and have them perscribe it. if youre ready for sex then talking to them really shouldnt be a big deal.

place whipped cream and strawberries anywhere. the taste of them is for the giver, not the reciever, and the main sensation is just that somethings being eaten off of them. I do however suggest licking whipped cream off of their stomach or neck.

as for odor, just make sure you wash with soap or body wash. everyones smell is unique, and guys really dont find it a turn off or anything. if the smell is really strong or repulsive, try a douche or ask your gyno if it could be an infection. i hear orange juice makes you taste better, but that could be a myth.

as for condoms, I'd stay away from the really cheap or free ones. chances are, bigger companies take more time to make sure they are defect-free, but as far as effectiveness, that all depends on if you use it right. make sure the guy knows how to use one, and just to be safe, id have him pull out anyway.

hope this helps, but id still do more research and talk to your gyno

First off, I'm glad you came to someone with questions rather than going it yourself. Many girls find theirselves pregnant or with STDs because they didn't take the time to explore the options first before jumping into that bed. With that said, I'll try to answer your questions as best as I can.

It is highly possible for your parents to find out eventually. The best thing you can do is be up-front with them about it. While they may not agree with your decision to have sex, they'll respect the fact that you came to them first and want to protect yourself. My mom had me put on the pill herself when I was old enough to start getting curious about sex.

Since your gyno is usually the one that puts you on the pill, yes they will know. It's usually a good idea to let any doctor know what pills you are taking since some medicines can counteract. For instance Amoxicylin (an antibiotic) decreases the effect of birth control pills.

Whipped cream and strawberries can be fun They can be put anywhere and licked off. They're usually not used for your first time though.

Try taking a shower before having sex and cleaning with an antibacterial soap. Make sure to rinse well so you don't get irritated. I usually don't recommend douching since it can push bad bacteria higher into the vagina and cause infection. It also destroys the good bacteria in your vagina so your body has less resistance to infection.

There are a variety of condoms on the market. Personally I prefer Trojans since I'm allergic to most of the other kinds. As long as you buy a name brand condom, they're all about the same effectiveness. Try finding one with a spermicide (usually nonoxynol-9) since this will kill any sperm that it touches.

Last but not least, talk to your parents or another trusted adult before making the decision to have sex. You can even drop a note in my inbox. I do not mind at all answering any questions you have. You can also go to your local health department or planned parenthood office. Make sure you know the dangers of having sex, not only pregnancy but also STDs, and how to protect yourself. These places often provide contraceptives at little or no cost in complete confidentiality.

1.. if you get on the pill it might be possible for them to find out if you dont hide them good.. if your on the shot they could find out when you dont have a period and if your on the patch they could find out if you put it in a noticeable place.. the pill might be the easiest thing to hide out of all those three things..
2..the gyno should be the people to give you the birth control..
3..Whipped cream and strawberries are just used to make sex more fun or just to spice it up a bit.. most people put the whipped cream on the vagina and the guy eats it off or it can be put on the guy on his penis and licked off by the female.. but it dont have to be put the it can be put on the stomach, nipples or where ever you'd like to lick your partner.. the strawberries are just fun to eat together and shared..
4..females all have a odor down there if you take a hot bath before doing something sexual or using summer eve it helpes.. you should be okay if you do that.. if you drink alot of pop it would help the smell to drink alot of water.. and if you take a hot bath dont have bubbles in it..
5.. use trogan

allright to be on birth control you have to get it from a doctor.. and your parents would have to sign for it.. or something like that... or u could say your periods are funky and birth control regulates women...

and your gyno can look at your vagina and tell if your pregnant im sure theres a way he'd/she'd know....guys enjoy pussy...lol...

u can put whipped cream anywhere on your body and the other person licks or does whatever... it's a sexual thing.. be creative!!!

umm wash regulary and dont over do it coz its not very good for you, but douching gets rid of it.. but if you do it to much it will give you a yeast infection...

all condoms are most effective if they werent they wouldn't sell them.. and no matter what nothing is 100 percent

1. Yes..they can find out if you leave your pill dispenser laying around...but if you don't tell them and ask your doctor or planned parenthood not to..then they won't..

2. Um..I'm not sure but even if they could..there's a thing called doctor/patient priveledge..anything you don't want your parents to know..the doctors or gyno's are legally NOT allowed to tell them

3. Um..you can eat them? Whipped cream you can lick it off of anywhere you want to..there's no set way to do it but for losing your virginity..I wouldn't suggest kinky sex

4. That IS the feminine odor and guys know that..and actually yeah they obviously enjoy smelling it or 99% of them wouldn't lick it. Wash daily..and it'll smell normal..everyone has their own taste..it won't change. If you taste good you taste good, if you don't..well then just don't let a guy eat you
