Long Distance Love

Question Posted Monday July 18 2005, 10:08 pm

My boyfriend of over two years is in the Navy. We're working on a long distance relationship and we have gotten so much closer, it's unbelievable. I'm going to visit him in 18 days where he's stationed in Florida, and I'm going to be there for almost two weeks. I want these two weeks to be the best ever. Any suggestions on what I can do to make it awesome? What kinda things can we do, or what can I say/do to show him my feelings haven't changed? I want this to be perfect. =)

1st of all o just wanna say that you & him together after him being in the navy is great.

i think the idea of snuggling up at one of yalls house ( or if you live together yall house) and watch movies and eat popcorn under a blanket. and just hangout. no need for this make-out session just to something that you both love to do whether its watching movies or going to the arcade or going sit under a tree and having a picnic. get creative =)

hope i helped a little =)

Go somewhere fun! Florida is filled with cool stuff to do.

Find something you both enjoy! Travel around the state, visiting random places. Or pick out just one place.

And inbox me if you need ideas. ^^ I live in Florida.

wow thats amazingly cute!! i know my cousin had a relationship with someone in the navy, no doubt it was a tough relationship, but in the end, wen he came home, they must have been the tightest couple ever. they both respected eachother and looked at eachother in a new light. hmm.. i think you should consider a dinner on the ocean. florida is a beautiful place, and that would be super romantic!! uhmm just take lots of night walks on the ocean, thats super sweet too!! well, im sure your boy friend already has everything planned out and has some surprises for you as well. my advice is just use every moment avaliable, and dont hold back. haha. god bless your boyfriend for being over seas <3 hope i helped:)

my friend was just talking about how she went parasailing when she was in the Keys. but then again, since he'll be stationed there i doubt he'll be able to get out much. just try some romantic dinners and sweet things that you two know about. like live out a private joke or uhh, fantasy? but really, if he's as crazy about you as you are to him, i'm sure that just being able to actually touch you and see you and etc in person will be good enough to last him a whole year
