IndieKidsCanRock answered Saturday July 16 2005, 12:08 pm: ♥STD stands for Sexually Transmited Disease (examples: Aids, HIV, Herpes, Ghonnorea, etc.). You get these by having unprotected sex and other sexual acts. These are bad. Some can cause death. The best way to avoid a sexually transmited disease is to bring your boyfriend/girfriend and go get tested. [ IndieKidsCanRock's advice column | Ask IndieKidsCanRock A Question ]

Real4Christ07 answered Saturday July 16 2005, 11:10 am: An STD is a Sexually Transmitted Diseases. You can only get through sexual intercourse. Now I know you don't wanna be staying up one night wondering if you have an STD. STDs are very, very, very, very Bad. You do not wanna get one. The best method is to abstain and not even have sex. The world tells you that sex is pleasureable(which it is), but it never really says the consequences of it. Plus people who have had sex before marriage say sex doesn't even really get good until you're married. And if you have had sex. Try to abtain for now on. It's better know for sure than to wonder. azngemini answered Saturday July 16 2005, 11:08 am: STD stands for Sexually Transmitted Disease. you get most of them from having sex with someone that already has the disease. and yes, they are very bad, lol.
genital herpes is a kind of disease that wont kill you but there's no cure for it. every once in a while, you'll grow something that looks like a pimple but is actually a herpes outbreak, usually on your face or genitals. Genital herpes is caused by a virus spread through close, physical, skin-to-skin contact, including any oral, vaginal, or anal sex.
you get HIV or AIDS from unprotected sex or if your mother gave birth to you when she had the disease. this is probable the worse STD because it can kill you. sometimes it takes people like 20 years to realize that they have HIV. that's why we should always strap up and always get tested.
there are more STDs, but these are the only 2 i'm familiar with
