Whenever I work out or run, I sweat A LOT. I get nearly my whole shirt soaked. It's so gross! I'm always scared to go running or to work out with someone, because they will make fun of me and call me names like "Sweat Walrus," especially guys. What should I do?

Hahah, Barbie moment. Actually worrying about sweating may be one of the reasons that you're sweating more than usual. By worrying about it, it sends surges to the Central Nervous System in your brain and tells your body to produce more sweat to keep it under control. Other than that here's some more stuff for when you sweat while working out.
1. Use a product that contains both deodorant and antiperspirant. The deodorant only helps control odors, whereas the antiperspirant helps block sweat.
2. Sprinkle cornstarch or talcum powder in problem areas to absorb moisture.
3. Dress in layers so you can control your temperature, thereby reducing your body's need to sweat. Wear a white or light-colored hat to reflect sunlight on hot days, since your head is an important temperature-control point on the body.
4. Wear natural fabrics such as wool, silk and cotton that allow air to circulate around your body easily.
5. Drink plenty of fluids and stay fit. Fluids and a fit body help regulate your temperature and reduce sweating.
6. Relax as much as possible using regulated breathing, yoga or meditation. This can reduce stress, the obvious perspiration trigger.
However, if you find yourself sweating even when you're not working out and the temperature is cool, see your doctor because that could be the sign of an underlying health problem.
