STOP STARING AT ME !!!!!
well fist i want to say this is my first time on this site and it's pretty good.
i need advice on school. School is hard not the work (straight A's) but the people. i have people that stare at me for no reason. see i going to start 10th grade and snice 6th grade people has been staring at me. i don't know y, but its annoy. it's mostly girls and some guys. i am scared to get classes with these people because they might do more than stare. how do i stop this thing? (school is on aug 15th) Pleassse help.

I'm rated 5 on this site so i'm one of the very best i know what you need help on. Some times when your nervous, you may feel like every one is staring at you, when they're really not. Just take it easy girl, its only high school. And if they really are staring at you, dont let it bother you, people will be people. If they're that ignorant, you dont need them. But yeah i know it can be annoying, so if you really want them to stop, just nicely ask one of them, like what is every one looking at me all the time for? Is there something wrong with me. Ask your mom if something is different about you...either your mom or siblings or just a close friend. Maybe theres something about you that you dont notice that draws attention.....but i wouldnt give it too much thought...take it as a compliment( :

I went through the same thing for many years and it definitely annoyed me more than the work I got in school. What I did to solve it is simple: friends. Even if I had 1 friend I'd just hang out with them or anything like that...and the last thing I would do is pay attention to the people who were giving my looks. And to be honest something I did that helped...I actually try to become friends with some of them. If I got stuck with them as partners for a project or something I just showed them that I'm just as normal or cool as they are...and it worked...that one friend turns into many that used to stare and now they're just my friends and I feel much more confdent walking down the hallway knowing that people know that I am just like them and they have no reason to stare.

I don't see much of a problem, they're probably staring because they're checking you out ;) if you catch them staring, stare back. Then when they blink go "HA! You blinked!" I think they'll get the picture. Tease them a bit, it's rude to stare anyways. Don't let it get you down, it's not much of a big deal. Take it as a compliment, they're taking moments out of their lives to focus on nothing but you. I'd be flattered.

If people are staring at you, and you don't feel comfortable with it, ask them "Why are you staring at me?" or "Please stop looking at me!" They'll probably stop if they are younger or 'smaller' than you. But if they are older and tey are staring at you, than you should just look straight forwards (not at the ground or the other way) and continue walking.
