this id what we did to get our dog to stop diging
if you have a chain link fence and it digs by the fence tie it by it with a short length

if you dont have a chain link fence get sonething ti stick in the ground to tie it up or get something heavy and tir it ti that...make sure it is right by the hole

Well if its getting that bad. You could always try putting him in a cage outside with just a small piece of carpeting. He can;t dig through that and when you tink hes ready let him out and he will probably be used to not digging so he wont. Or another thing is a dog whistle. Stand out side when he is and when he starts digging blow the dog whistle. Keep doing this until hes so used to not digging. Then there is a dog clicker. When it goes outside and then goes inside without digging a whole you click this sort of " dog clicker" amd it acts as a reward. They love it.

Buy your dog their favorite treat. Then when they don't dig say good dog and pet him and give him the treats. But if he starts digging then yell and say bad dog. Sorry if your dog is a girl, i didn't know.

To teach your dog not to dig put bug fertilizer on the ground it will mess with his sense and tell him to stay away along with hiring him a personal trainer i know a friend who had the same problem just e-mail him at ma101mi@yahoo.com

i have a dog and i know EXACTLY how to make him stop!ok, what you need to do is everytime he starts to dig, you yell NO!!!if that seems to not be working then all you have to do is go out there and pinch his/her ear firmly(not to hard).that is how i get my dog to stop doing things he shouldn't!you could also try taking him/her to a park and leting him/her run around and stuff!

-kat-hope i helped you!

one good idea i read in a trainng book, is to everytime he or she digs..you squirt water at him or her with a spray bottle and say no. but make sure you always say the same word..sometiems saying no and sometimes sayign down will confuse the dog. good luck :)

One thing to do is put chicken wire under the soil.

Another thing to try is to give your dog a private digging area. Tell him to dig there, and hopefully, he wont dig anywhere else.

You can also apply pet repellants to the area he digs. Check the pet store.

Or put something sticky. They don't like the feeling of that.

Hope those ideas help. ^^

You probably live on top of an old sacred Indian burial ground. Expect tall dark shadows to move around at night whispering and possibly some blood to oozing out of the walls.

You might also try to invite Michael Jackson over for dinner and let it bury something worth getting rid of.
