A bigger pot may be all that's needed to keep the cat from tipping your plant over. Also rubbing some ammonia around the outside of your pot will keep the cat away.

Put it where kitty can't get it, or get a planter too heavy for kitty to mess with(or put a brick in it, etc).

put it somewhere where no one (especially the cat) can get it. There are plenty more flowers... just plant more and put it somewhere else!

Well, I guess you could try putting the pot up HIGH where kitty can't knock it over. You could also try hanging it. Or how about putting it in a corner space, so it can't fall backwards, ya know? Honestly, that's all I can really think of. Sorrie to hear about your plant.. hopefully you can find a new way or protecting it. :)

Buy a new plant and put your cat in a corner for 5 minutes as disipline. Without toys because cats are usually solitary creatures, so take away the toys and keep the dog near as severe punishment if it does that with a new plant.

This is just an idea, but they have this little mini "green houses"(pretty much a little square piece of clear plastic) that goes over your plants so that they grow faster and animals can't ruin them as easily.

Also, if you are having problems with your cat eating your plants, you could always set out a "cat grass" plant. Cat's love these!
