I'm 13/f and I need some ideas for the perfect room. I want something relaxing and cool, but not too girly like I used to have. Any help is appreciated! (my fave col. is blue)

If you like blue I wouldn't paint that as your wall color though I would paint it a very light and soft gray and your bedsheet will all be blue and throw pillows can be like light green and lavendar. Go to Hgtv.com and then go to decorating and on the right hand side theres a link roomplanner you can plan how you want your room to be basically experiment.
This room idea is modern though if you don't like modern then you should go like a theme (I don't know the name of theme) but you could paint the room a solid colored blue (I wouldn't reccomend dark blue at all)and you could put moon and stars etc on 1 wall and then you could have a dark blue comforter with a sun on it or something and a lot of off white candles! That would be cool! If you don't like these ideas I'm sure we can come up with something else!!!! [ twistedteen25's advice column | Ask twistedteen25 A Question ]

Or maybe aquatic themed? (yes, I like themed rooms) Paint the walls a nice sea blue, and decorate with dolphins and fish and stuff.

Definitly paint your bedroom walls light blue, you like the color, and it stands for calmness. Pick a corner of your room and clear it out, get tons of blue fluffy pillows and beanbags and throw them down. Put a canopy-like curtain over the corner, and there you go, perfect lounging place. Make sure there is not alot of clutter on your shelves and other surfaces.
