Cinnamon Tortilla Things

Question Posted Sunday July 10 2005, 5:14 pm

My sister used to cut flour tortillas into fourths, put cinnamon on them and stick them in the oven. When she would take them out, they were crispy little cinnamon chips. I was wondering if anybody knows if there's a recipe for this (I just want to know what temperature and how long to cook them).

Ok well I make those too but this is what I do:
You'll need: Frying Pan, butter, cinniomon, and a tortillias.
First: Put the pan on the stove and put it on med.
Then: Put just a tinny tinny bit of butter in the pan. Just so it covers the bottom.
After that: Butter the tortilla and put it in the pan.
Next: You put the cinniomon on the tortilla.
After that: Now you wait about 5 min. or when it starts to look light brown or if you want it more crispy darker brown.
Finally: You take it and if you want you can cut it in 4,5,6,7 picies!
I think that is so so yummy! I hope if you make it it turns out vary good and yummy! :)

Cinnamon Tortillas

Yield: 4 dessert servings

4 flour tortillas, 7" size
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. sugar (or to taste)
Cut tortillas into bite-size triangles. Stir together melted butter, cinnamon and sugar, until blended. Brush or toss tortillas with cinnamon/butter/sugar mixture. Place tortillas on baking sheet in a single layer and bake at 350 degrees F until lightly browned and crisp.

♥Sounds good. I checked on a website called All Recipes for "Cinnamon Tortillas" and found this recipe: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) . It is exactly what you're looking for. The recipe also tells you how to make a fruit salsa as a dip for the chips, but if you don't like that just follow the "chip making" part of the recipe.
