poem recital
for theatre i hafta recite a poem and i wanna make a good selection. an original poem that no one has relly done before. any ideas? plz dont list any edgar allen poe poems, i luv his work but i'm already reciting one of his. thankz in advance!

i did a poem recital last year in theatre too. my poem was 'sherwood' it was a great poem and no one else had ever heard it before. good luck on you recital!

alot of people get very moved by emotional poems, but not sappy love ones, so i think my suggestion would be to recite that poem about the kid under the influence of drugs and alchohol and he killed his parents in a head on crash, along with his girlfriend
sorry if im not much of a help, but i think, especially if you are speaking to a group of mature kids or adults, they would be moved on a totally different level.
