self-tanning lotion

Question Posted Wednesday July 6 2005, 6:28 pm

Has anyone tried, I think Jergen's makes that lotion that gives you some color just by using their lotion? Its not really a self-tanner since its supposed to moisturize the skin but also give you a glow after a week of use.

I was just wondering if anyone has tried it & if they have, did it work for you? I have very fair skin & I try anything to get some color. Thanks!

i have very fair skin too.. if your white, i'd suggest dont get a tan! your probably cute the way you are. but if you really want one i'd say get that full body spray treatment. i know some people who got it and look great!

I was watching Regis and Kelly the other day and Kelly said it worked. I've never used it myself but she said it worked good. Might as well try it.

Whatever you do, stay away from tanning beds or sun batheing... you'd much rather have a weird spray on tan than get skin cancer

It did not work for me! I have fair skin too.
Get a tan by laying out.
It's much more relaxing

I tried it, it wasn't that great. I would sugguest using a regular mosturizer with out the tanner. real tans are the best anyways. And as for your face, try a foundation a couple shades darker than your complexion.
P.S> its better to look natural than fake.

Yeah, i have tried it, even though it is primarily for girls, and i did notice a difference, i think it just moisturizes your skin and has like traces of sunless tanner in it. Sorry for the lack of expertise in this field, but im only a guy. lol.

Yep, Jergens makes a lotion called Natural Glow that gives color and doesn't leave streaks like a normal tanner. This will not give you a tan - tan but it will give you healthy color. I've used it and it does work. If you are looking for a self tanning product I definatley recommend Coppertone's Endless Summer Foam. It leaves a great tan - as dark as you want - and you can correct any lines or streaks continuously. It's great for a natural looking tan. They also make a gradual tanner like Jergens that has the same effect - but gets you a bit tanner. The gradual tanners can just be applied after a bath or shower like regular lotion - then vua-la you have a tan!!
