k.. i dated my ex-boyfriend for 11 months. he broke up with me about a week ago. my friend hooked me up with her boyfriend's friend and i really like him a lot. last night, i went to my ex's house and made out with him and stuff.. and he was all over me.. and today he's going on a date. i can't forget my ex. this isn't the first time we've broken up. i just can't seem to get over him. this other guy is so close to perfect. and i don't want to go out with him if i'm gonna still have feelings for my ex. what kind of things would help to get over my ex? someone please help.

well first you cant go your life living a lie ... you cant go out with this other dude any longer he will be crushed if he finds out that you cheated on him you need to get your feeling straight before going on dating him before it gets to serious. if you break up with him tell him why and that if he really likes you he will understand and wait untill your feeiling are straight and you are complety over your X'bf and if you find out that you cant get over your X'bf then tell him and try to work things out just as friends as well as your X'bf tell him your feelings sit down with him and tell him you are crazy for him you cant stop thinking about him and that you wish you 2 could hook back up togather and not just be a make out parnter .. that you would want to be boyfriend and girlfriend not just another fling

First of all, if he makes out with you and everytihng and the next day goes on a date with sumone else then obviously hes a player and just wants to take advantage of girls. you still might have feelings for him but think about it, do you really want to be with someone who in the future could be cheating on you?, breaking up with you again?...If this other guys is close to perfect see how he is, then decide who you want to be with. a way to get over your ex is to hang out with this other guy. he sounds like a great guy and it seems like you should get away from your ex and if you spend time with this guy then you will forget the feelings you have with your ex because you will be so occupied by the other guy

Well if you still have feelings for your ex i can understand you dont want them to get over you but some how you know that deep down they are. Its tough breaking up with someone you really thought you could trust and really become attached to. and if i read your question right hes playing with your head because to make out with you and then go on a date?
