how do you determine if a car is a sports car or not?? im lookin for cars but my parents said i couldn't get a sports car for insurance reasons or whatever but every car i like they say its a sports car! is it by how much horsepower it has? and if so how much does a sports car have?

I'm sure they will want you to get a 4 cylinder car with 4 doors. Probably kind of ugly.
If you are mechanically inclined but want something good looking to drive, why not find an old muscle car? There are still some good ones out there. Tags and insurance are usually cheap, if it breaks they are easy to fix yourself and parts are reasonably affordable. Maybe you could look for "used" sports cars bc their cheaper... my brother has a "used" car and believe me... dont worry with the "used" part at all bc if you like crash... maybe you wouldnt feel to guiltly about it... but im just trying to help...
