Question Posted Sunday July 3 2005, 12:23 am

My hair is blonde right now, and I usually get it professionally done. But right now I want to dye it to my natural hair color (medium brown.) But instead of going to the salon, I was thinking doing it out of the box since it's cheaper and kinda hard to mess up brown (right?). Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of brands that look natural and don't fade? Thanks!

Not to sure on brands but I can tell you to your best bet is to go to a beauty supply store or a cosmetics place.

i prefer revlon as well..but it usually fades within a month which is something i dont favor. which is why i now get it done professionally and prefer to have you get it professionally cuz its more effective and such. goodluck. =)* carmen

use Revlon High Demension. it works really good and gives u like, dimension and brings out natural highlights so your hair doesn't look all one color, dull, and boring. it comes with conditioner you use once a week or after 2 weeks (*depends what color you get) and the conditioner renews your color so if its fading it'll come back!

Nice 'n Easy works great! I find it's a really good dying kit. You can get this conditioner for color-treated hair. It'll help your color last longer, stay brighter, and it won't fade. You can find it anywhere in the shampoo section.
