sure except its going to be hard to get out. tampons come out easily when they are wet, and since yours would be dry, well your gonna have some trouble there. Unless you take it out while sitting in the bathtub.

She is most likely referring to Toxic Shock Syndrom. But in order to get that there MUST be blood or menstral fluid present and if you haven't gotten your period yet there is no chance of you getting it. The disease your friend was talking about is Toxic Shock Syndrom or TSS.It happens when you dont change your tampon and the bacteria(blood) stays up there. They say you can keep your tampon on for up to 8 hours..but that still seems risky to me.So heres what I do:I change my tampon throughout the day EVERYTIME i go to the bathroom. Then at night I wear a pad instead of a tampon.

No. seriously dont try wearing one without your period. It hurts like a bitch to pull it out if its not wet or full. It took me a couple of times to realize that. dont do it...

it will be extreamly uncomfortable if you try to wear it without having your period. It wont go in all the way, because it wont be wet inside of you. Just wait unitl your period arrives. And yes,you can get TSS Toxic Shock Syndrome. It is caused from wearing a tampon for too long, wearing a tampon with too high of an absorbancy, or wearing one when you dont need it. It can make you very sick or kill you. Your friend is right.

if you really wanted to you could try it. your friend was talking about TSS (toxic shock syndrome) but you can only get that from wearing a tampon ALL the time so dont worry, go try it out.

Yes,you can try on a tampon to see what it feels like. It's not gonna MAKE you start your period or anything! You're only curious. The disease your friend is talking about is TSS or Toxic Shock Syndrom, which comes from wearing tampons CONSTANTLY!And there have now been tests showing that the odds of getting TSS aren't as high as they've been made out to be in the past.My only advice would be to try and use some type of lubricant. At the VERY VERY least, dab a little vasiline or baby oil down there first.Inserting a dry tampon, when there's no moisture or lubricant down there is not something you'd wanna try!Depending upon how old you are,you may have a little natural moisture down there already, and that would be fine! It's all pretty much trial and error, with both tampons and pads. You'll find out all of that more when you get your period.Hope this helped! If you have anymore questions, don't be shy or hesitant to write me! :)
