I know I'm going to be kissing for the first time tonight. I'm nervous and excited. I need every pointer on what to do, where to start and so on. What was it like your first time making out?

stalkingroxy911 answered Friday July 1 2005, 5:53 pm: make sure you have gum so you have an excuse to kiss him agian. lol jk but if you really wanna go for it! it is much easier for your first time to just follow his lead

icey0990 answered Friday July 1 2005, 4:48 pm: this is exciting! keep calm and dont get nervous..
my first time was when i was 12 ..possibly 11..(im 16 now) well it was with the boy next door ..such a movie kind of storyline i know..and we were sitting on the road (nobody comes down my road) and it was a starry night..and we kissed..he kind of messed up and his tongue got all sloppy but we were young and it was a great moment for me then.
ok tips:
-just pay attention to your breath..brush well and bring some mints or gum
-when the time is right you will know..dont force it..go with the flow
-put your hands somewhere..dont let them just do nothing...you can put them through his hair..behind his necck..on his back..other places..
-dont shove and thrust your tongue down his throat...gentle and natural is the best way to go
-chapped lips wont feel good to the guy so if your lips are a bit chapped..use some chapstick or some gloss..dont drown your lips in it though

We had tried before but I had freaked out and hadn't been ready. When we finally did, it just came naturally. We both knew it was going to happen and I just looked at him and we kissed.
There are no real tips I can give you except to do what I did and to relax. Try to keep your mind off it until it happens because then the kiss will come more naturally. Don't keep thinking about it and panicking and wondering when the kiss will happen, what will happen etc.
You might want to take some mints or chewing gum with you to make sure you have fresh breath, a kiss with someone with bad breath is always horrible.
As for what you actually do, it's hard to explain. It honestly does come naturally, I know that's very cliche but it really is true. You will know when the time is right and you will know what to do. If it isn't right then it wont happen, don't worry if it doesn't because the chances are that it means you weren't ready, trust me.
