My guy friend is seriously considering breaking up with his girlfriend. I really like him & he told my friend he would date me if he broke up with his girlfriend. The only problem is that my best friend likes me too. What should I do?
As far as which to go out with... it depends on who they are and how you feel about them, and if you want to risk it. If you go out with a friend, and it ends badly, or either of you feels uncomfortable about the other afterwards, it could end the friendship. [ mushoku's advice column | Ask mushoku A Question ]

There's a chance that you could just be a rebound girlfriend, but wouldn't you regret it if you had a chance to date him and didn't take it? (From experience, YOU WILL MOST LIKELY REGRET IT.)
Even though your best friend's feelings should be important to you, it shouldn't stop you from dating someone else. The truth is that you don't feel that way about your best friend. He should accept that, and accept that you're going to date other people. It sounds harsh, but there's a good chance your best friend will understand... and possibly move on. IF your best friend only see you as a friend only see you as a friend then go for it with your guy friend. Since you guys already like each other any way. Hope i helped.
