so what do you do when you break up with your girlfriend, who was also your best friend before that, and now you've been replaced completely by some other guy....well ya that happened to me....she doesn't even talk to me anymore, but she's not visibly mad at me or anything...i've just been replaced entirely by this kid...any suggestions on 1) how to win her back atleast to best friend level or if not 2) how to deal with the fact that you've been replaced entirely.....any help would be great, thanks guys.

Taylor02 answered Tuesday June 28 2005, 1:27 pm: Well im not a guy like you but i can try to help. Just talk to her,if she was once your best friend a true friend would talk to you again. Just start a conversation or somthing if you see her. And for # 2 if you got a girlfriend and she didn't have a boyfriend she would feel the same way. Just give it time and maybe you will find someone for you! Hope i helped! Good luck! [ Taylor02's advice column | Ask Taylor02 A Question ]

sundevilette answered Monday June 27 2005, 2:35 am: Well a lot on how to properly answer this would be for me to know who broke up with who, but I'll do my best. Unfortunatly throughout your life you will go through relationships that may not always end how you would like them to. Sometimes things change and you just need to except that, this is coming from personal experiece. First of all you don't need to try and immediatly win her back as a girlfriend. Show her that you respect her wishes and want her to be happy even if it's with this other guy. One of the most attractive qualities in a guy is when there genuinly sincere about wanting you to be happy. If you don't want to talk to her in person then try writing her a letter so she can read it in private and take some time to think. Dealing with being replaced is hard and there's really nothing that anyone can say to lift your spirits. It just takes time. Yes it may hurt, and yes you may feel like you will never recover, but I promise you will, everyone does cause everyone has been where you are. I hope this helps!

karenR answered Monday June 27 2005, 1:50 am: You need to tell her how you feel. Write her a letter and give that to her. It works much better when you can take time to think about what you want to say without being interrupted or side tracked by questions. I think that would be the easiest way to get her back. She either likes what you say or she doesn't.
The best way to get over one person is to replace that spot with another. So, if she decides she doesn't want to get back together, you need to find someone else to spend time with.
Not easy but quick. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
