SmileLikeYouMeanIt answered Sunday June 26 2005, 9:07 pm: This is a tough problem. I'm not going to tell you to like sabtage your sister or anything. You can't stop her from being popular and pretty. You just need to change your mindset in order to stop being jealous. Look at all of your good qualities and remember that those qualities make you unique. I know this sounds really cliche, but you just have to accept the fact that your sister is the way she is. Try not to focus so much on your sister, though. Think about yourself and what you can do to feel good about yourself. Being jealous of your sister won't get you anywhere. Try to get over your sister and think about the kind of person you are and why people like you. Maybe look at your sister's qualities and see what makes her popular if you really want to be popular. If she's more open and outgoing, then maybe you should try being outgoing. But for now, just appreciate who you are, and if people see that you love yourself, they will love you.
