You posted this a while back, but I thought maybe I could help out a little. Major in Multimedia, I'm assuming you mean Communications...Media as in Tv, Print, Film...etc. The way to find course requirements for a major in this you would need to find the university first you are interested in and then go to their website, then find a link for Departments and Programs, from there you should be able to find a particular college within the university that has Communication or possibly a College of Communication. At my university the Communication department is part of the College of Arts and Letters. Once you find the Communication College or Department, look under undergrad programs. There you should find a list of majors. Then look for program requirements. There you should find a list of classes you will need. You will most likely be shown a list of several different categories and some of the courses listed under specific categories you will need ALL of the courses, others you will just choose. ALSO, on top of those courses you will need to find out what the University requirements are (Core classes...math, science, language, english, etc) in addition to other special College requirements. My university in particular you need 120 credits for a BA in Communication, maybe a few more depending which program you choose and each class is 3 credits. As for salaries, that depends on where you live and what exactly you want to do. Multimedia is a broad field so you'll have to look into what position you'd want exactly. You can do a google search for careers in Multimedia to come up with a list of possible jobs and then I'd recommend a site like Monster.com to just do a test search for jobs in your area and what they offer typically. Bear in mind too if you're just starting school now, salaries will change and while you're in school I'd recommend an internship or two...in that field it helps a great deal. I wish you the best of luck!!! I'm graduating in December finally with a degree in Media and Cultural studies...so I've been through all of this already. take care.
