My younger sister is 11 and she weighs 130 pounds.
Question Posted Friday June 24 2005, 11:53 pm
My younger sister is 11 and she weighs 130 pounds. I'm not sure if this is right, cause she looks pretty slim but is heavy. She asked me to ask you guys this since she is too young to join. By the way, I'm 13 and I'm 88 pounds.
Who caRes what the woRld has labelled as "aveRage" oR "noRmal"... and TO HELL WITH WHAT EVERYONE ELSE THINKS - FUCK 'EM, ya know?????
But if it makes heR feel betteR, she seems PERFECTLY FINE to me.
And I wouldn't woRRie about excess weight unless it's stopping heR fRom doing heR daily Routines and activities, and at a meRe 130 pounds.. it's not. :D

OnMelikeLAMB answered Saturday June 25 2005, 5:56 pm: ok, so you say she looks slim and she weighs 130 pounds? well to make you feel better, i dance, and dance is a very dificult sport that you have to put a lot of effort into. (oh and by the way, dance is a sport)and i am not very light but i am thin, muscular, and tall! i use to wonder why i was heavy, and then i found out that muscle weighs way more than fat and since i am so tall (i am 5'7") it makes me weigh even more! so dont worry! you are only the weight you are because you are tall, and muscular! and keep dancing girl! it can take you far!

Advice_Giver_123 answered Saturday June 25 2005, 12:24 pm: If she is 11, weighs 130 pounds, is heavy, but slim, it doesn't mean anything you think it is. Muscles weigh more than pounds, so you don't need to worry. My best friend in the 5th grade was 10 and I think she weighed the about the same as your younger sister. She thought she was fat, but she wasn't. She was normal. So I don't think you (or your sister)has to worry about that. [ Advice_Giver_123's advice column | Ask Advice_Giver_123 A Question ]
BabyGirl05 answered Saturday June 25 2005, 10:30 am: I am 13 and I am 5'3 (yes short, i know) and i do cheerleading (close enough to dance) and yes dance and that IS a sport. I weigh 123 pds. It couldnt hurt her to loose a couple pounds but nothing major. At the most? 10-15. I am, slim too just heavy. Evreyones body fram is diffrent
a girl the same age, height, and does dance too and is the same slim body could weigh the same and weight the same weight at you. or weigh more than her. Dont worry about it shes still young just maybe lay off some junk food! You, you are probaly skin and bones! My best friend is 13 and she weighs about the same as you and shes like 4'somthing! wow. SKinny! lol haha

poa answered Saturday June 25 2005, 1:40 am: Yeah. Height is a factor...
with 130 pounds, height could be the difference between natalie from the facts of life and really creepy tall chick from Beverly Hills Cop 2. [ poa's advice column | Ask poa A Question ]
breath_less2164 answered Saturday June 25 2005, 12:45 am: Since your sister seems slim, she probably just has a lot of muscle. If your sister plays a sport thats probably why. But with you on the other hand, that's not healthy, unless ur like 4ft tall. Godd luck with both of you! <33 [ breath_less2164's advice column | Ask breath_less2164 A Question ]
