so upset

I had a huge choclate craving than i started to cry while eating the chocolate ice cream that was in the freazer. was wrong with me? i have been all grumpy latly and i'll say things i don't mean and i'll think about it later and i'll be "why did i say/do that" or "that was stupid"
nothing bad has recently happen to me! i what should i do?/?/?/?
please i'm so confused

Ok,well I was like this a while ago. I was really crazy about everything I did. I seriously was depressed all the time. I always had lights off and i would lay in my room and listen to depressing music and cry all day and all night. I was a bitch to everyone, my friends, my family.. it really sucked. and everytime i did something i ended up regretting it, so i was even more upset. I really had nothing that I could do about the way I was acting besides think about things before i do/say them. Like, the whole crying in my room all day and night thing, had to stop. I made myself get up and do something. Do whatever you love to do.. Maybe it will help. Think about things before you do or say them, no matter how hard it will be, just work at it. Idk if that helped..

Hormones (sp) you might be having mood swings because your hormones are a little off balance.(If your a teen). If your a girl, you might be close to getting your period. I know that happens to me to when im about to get mine or have mine, if i cant find exactly what i want to eat in the house, i cry and get upset and everything. just remember to keep a pad or tampon handy at all times like if your spending time with your friends, and take frequent bathroom stops to check. but for now, cuddle up on the couch, get ice cream or a chocolate bar, and watch a sad movie, or funny movie, what ever works for you. I hope I helped!

I hate to say it, but it might be PMS. If it is causing debilitating problems, see a doctor. Seriously. If you're able to cope with it without too much trouble, don't take drugs for it - it's not worth the effects most people don't know about. If you want to know more reasons to try to not take drugs for PMS, contact one of the women's programs instructors (phyllis is good) at MPC (www.mpc.edu).

It may not be PMS, especially if this lasts more than a week. If this happens in a cycle that seems to follow the same pattern as your period, it's probably PMS.

Maybe it is just PMS. I get grumpy now and then too. Watch a sad movie, and have a good cry. I suggest "Steel Magnolias" or "Fried Green Tomatos."

Bad things don't have to happen for you to have problems. Are you frustrated with something? Do you seriously need some time for yourself? This happens to me sometimes.
It could also just be PMS. I know I sometimes get mean and irrational just before my period. It varies according to how stressed out I am and how much water I had to drink before hand. It is common to crave ice cream right before your period.
If it isn't your period and it persists, seek someone to talk to: mom, friend, dad, counselor. Someone who can objectively help you out. It could just be mild depression and you act on it by being mean to others.
Don't panic.
