parents being gay
my mom is gay and now im startign to tell my friends and they like me for who i am not what my mom is or isnt but now there is a nasty girl across the street and i guess she saw my mom and her girlfriend kissing and now shes telling everyone and its not sucha great way to start off my summer.should i really care what other people are going to say do you think its gonna ruin my years coming in school if i admit to everyoner that my mother is a lesbian?

Don't worry what people think, you will feel better about your self in the end. I used to have to deal with the same issues when I was young, I just stopped caring what people thought about my mother as long as she was happy, thats all I cared about. My mother being a lesbian never changed how I felt about her. Some people just don't understand, but in the end they are the one's who are wrong not you.

The simple answer is no, you shouldn't care about what other people think, and everyone, including you, should be happy for your mom.
But honestly, we both know that some people can be really cruel, and so you might get teased and people may say some stupid, mean things to you... but people willing to do that, aren't worth your time.
just stick with your friends, and be proud that your mom is happy :-)

If your mom is happy with who she is and who she's with, then, everyone else should be happy FOR her. Including you. No, you should not care what other people think about your mother. It may be a bit embarassing to you... O.K, a LOT embarassing but you should be happy for her. She has found someone that she loves. No, I don't think that will ruin years to coming in school. If everyone is mature, they will understand it the way you do. Trust me on this.

you should ignore what that bitch says, just ignore her and move on. if you are truly ashamed that your mother is a lesbian, then dont share i with the world, but if you dont mind, then just go ahead. your true friends wont care if your mom is a lesbian

If you don't live in a big city they will find out anyway. If there is one thing most people like its gossip. I don't think you should let it bother you to much, your friends already know and are cool with it. Nobody else matters much.:)

this will be a life experience...you will find out who's your real friends because your real friends won't care if you're mom's a lesbian. and I highly doubt that the fact of your mom being a lesbian will ruin the rest of your school years and summers. don't worry about it, it's no big deal. hope i helped!
