noisy neighbors
My neighbors enjoy loud music. They are generally good about turning it down when we ask, but lately they are obviously retaliating by being obnoxious in other ways (hollering, honking horns, etc.) One guy even came over and told my Dad that we should do our part and shut our doors and windows. Don't we have a right to fresh air? I don't want this to escalate, but I really find their loud music very rude. Does anyone have ideas of what to do without starting a neighbor war?

Well, if it's at night and your trying to sleep or if it's a continous sitution, I'd call the cops and make a compliant. They'll go the house themselves and tell them to keep the music down.

It may seem a bit drastic, but it would most likely shut your neighbors up. Call the cops. Complain about noises next door, or wherever. The cops will most likely go to their house and tell them to quiet down. If a scare from the police doesnt shut them up then im sorry. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Ask them one more time, but if it gets to be out of hand, ask your other neighbors. If they're not lovin' the loudness either, then have everyone go over together. Seeing a crowd of people could make them more aware. If it doesn't, the police can break up long parties. I'm sure they could help with loud neighbors.

LAW! tell them you will report them to the autorities and make up all those fake stuff
such as ...hello ...i have let you slide off a lot of times with those blaring music, but this has gone far enough. and as the book says, on secion A paragraph 14. that we have right to report you to the authorities...

next time you can go over there and just be like hey can you PLEASE turn down your music !!!! if that doesnt work you can make a disturbing the peace call to the police.. the police will just tell them they need to keep it down.. and they wont say who called if you dont want them to.
I was having a neighbor war and it was sorta fun....lol same problem with me they would play their music hecka loud and have parties like eveynight it was so annoying !! i mean i could not even flippen sleep... i asked htem 3 times to turn it down and on the 3rd times i was like it you dont stop imma call the cops !!! ( i really didnt)
so what i did was at like 6 am in morning( when they would be sleeping) would blast up some annoying like techno mussic !! lol i was like IF I CANT FUCKIN SLEEP NEITHER CAN YOU !!! lol they finally realized what they were doing and turned down their music in exchange i would play anymore techno in the morning..
