How much eyeliner is too much? How can you tell? (I know this sounds really retarded, but I don't know!!!)

too much eyeliner is when it is like a bag under your eye. then you start looking like a raccoon...not good.
just a think line under your eye or on the flat spot over your eyelashes is enough.
make sure its noticable enough to accentuate that you actually have some on, but not enough that it looks like you haven't slept in a while (bags).

hey...to answer your ? it actually matters on the size and color of your eyez because if you have little eyes then it should be thinner but if there a little bigger then maybe it should be a lil thicker and if your eyes are dark then you different colors instead of black...say if your eyes are brown use blue if there blue use black and if there green use brown itll make your eyes stand out and ev1 will notice...it all depends on the way you wear your make up...if you im me at ouchick555 on aol on yahoo i can help you alot more... When your eyes water, when you have gunks under your eye, when it is too deep of a color. You should really stick to asking people because it all depends on the texture of your skin and the way you look with the features you possess. Every person is different . Hope I was some help and have a nice day.

You really cant go wrong with eyeliner but if it looks chunky, smeared and thick layers then its too much. Just put one layer and its perfect. ex__oOh ♥

too much eyeliner is when it's chunky, makes you look tired/old, or is too thick of a line. every person's make up is done differently, you need to test around and decide what looks best. if you're have trouble, go into a local beauty shop in the mall/store and ask them for their opinions, they'd be glad to help as well!

Honestly; this is an opinion question. If you ask *ME* it's veRy difficult to weaR "too much" black eyelineR. *I* think that it just depends on what kind of a statement you want to make. If you want to give the impRession of defiance, use THICK lineR. OR if you peRfeR the innocent casual look, a thin line is *veRy classy. Hope this helps!! :D
