Ending on a Bad Note

Question Posted Monday June 13 2005, 10:18 pm

On the last day of school, I was particularly mad at my friend for ditching me at the mall to hang out with some other people, so I was telling my friends how mean and stupid she was when I realized my crush was behind me and he accidentally heard me ragging on my friend. He said, "I didn't hear what you said," and walked out after I gave him a look of complete shame because I was upset he heard me at a bad time. Since it was the last day of school, I have no time to make it better.
I live near him though- should I go talk to him to make him remember me on a good note?

no...first of all you should go talk to your friend. tell her what was up and ask why she ditched you, then you can worry about what the guy thinks of you.
but i do think that you should go and talk to him. not necessarily for a 'good note,' but just to talk to him since you like him.
hope i helped.

yeah..go talk to him! just be like "i was out for a walk and i've been thinking about when you overheard me ragging on my friend i was just really upset and i wanted you to know that i'm not usually like that." or something along those lines. maybe afterwards you can invite him to play basketball or hang out with you and a couple friends after!

A good guy will know you aren't perfect! You're human just like him and you've got your right to be mad at somebody.
I think you should definately go talk to him, tell him you were having a lousy last day at school and were really hoping to say goodbye to him properly and hang out with him in the summer. He'll probably be really flatered you took the time to make things right.
(on a side note, be more careful venting about people. No matter how mean they are to you, never let them make you into a mean person.)

i honestly think you should go talk to him, you may be nervous but seriously you should go for it! If you want him to think good of you and maybe even like you.. its the thing to do. Good luck and I hope things turn out well!
