Heptune answered Friday June 17 2005, 6:48 pm: My daughter entered college when she was 13. She went to a college that didn't require the SAT, so that wasn't an issue for her. All they required was a highschool diploma. There is a local organization where we lived at the time that evaluates homeschoolers' portfolios and assigns them high school credits for the contents. They required her to write a term paper for a health credit; otherwise, her record was okay. They awarded her a diploma, and her graduation ceremony was held in the lieutenant governor's office. She transferred to Penn State and got her degree there. She is in grad school now. So yes, it can be done! [ Heptune's advice column | Ask Heptune A Question ]

MHScutie87 answered Wednesday June 8 2005, 11:49 pm: yeah you can totally take the SAT at practically like any time. for the colleges, you wont have many (if any) grades for high school so your transcripts wont be much of a help (which colleges look at) but good luck w/ that if you decide to go for it!
SWANKiFiED answered Wednesday June 8 2005, 11:47 pm: No, you cannot apply for a college as far as I know. You can however, take part in numerous scholarship programs for great schools like Duke & Harvard. You do that as a young age & they have you take the SATs. If you get a good score then you will be awarded a scholarship to the school. I'm 13 & I take my SATs in October. Talk to your school (when you're back in from summer break) about what programs they have to offer. Colleges target you through your testing scores (you know, those BIG tests you take around March at school). Good luck! If you need anymore help hun, just let me know!
