Vans Warped Tour 2005
Hi, Im going to the Vans Warped Tour in Milwaukee this summer. Its gonan be hot, so what should I wear? How long does it go until? Are there a lot of drugs? Am I gonna get beat up if Im sorta preppy? (im a girl) Let me know! thanks!

it will be hott , wear clothes that you dont mind getting dirty and dont bring anything that you dont want to carry around , have fun! im going in july at least twice!

You won't get beat up, a lot of people go to these things, from all backgrounds. I reccomend a nondescript black tanktop, jeans, and either tennis shoes or skater shoes or something converse-y. At least that's what I would wear. Make sure you are COMFORTABLE. And don't wear dangly earrings.
It will go until late. Very late.
Whether or not there's a lot of drugs depends on where you are, as warped tour is huge.

Oh! And carry your ticket, some cash, maybe lip gloss, cell phone, little items that you need in your pocket and leave the purse at home. It will be so much easier if you don't have something to keep up with at something like warped.

yay im going to..sept in sacramento haha anyways yea its gunna be hott..especially if your going to get in the mosh pit..so wear shorts and a teeshirt or soemthing..dont wear like skimpy stuff or anything..its about 11am-12am and there are some drugs..at least there was when i went..you can smell um but its not like anyones going to go up to you and make you take some..at least not when i was there last year! and i doubt youll get beat up but you might get bad looks and stuff..cause yeaa im not goin to say anything :o] BUT! if you go in the mosh pit you might get beat up..just a little haha well maybe more but have fun i know i will!!

hehe.. MY QUESTION.. I went to warped last year and it was pouring here in Dallas. And it usually starts at about 11:00 and ends LATE LATE at night. Yea.. there are some drugs around but you don't see it, if anything you sorta smell it but it's not too bad, or at least it wasn't last year. Overall, there are a lot of diverse and REALLY awesome people at warped tour. If you dress sorta "preppy" you might get some glares, but there are police officers around so no one can really get beat up or anything.
Warped tour is probably the BEST fun you will ever have in your life, seriously.. it was one of the BEST days of my life and the people there were so cool. It's funny how "gothic" people are mostly nicer than "preppy" people.. My advice though is to hang with a friend, aka buddy system, I walked around with my friend and we were perfectly fine, and we were in seventh grade, so don't worry about it. For shows though it helps to find a fence to sit on if you're short.. tall moshes sorta suck.
To wear.. I wore black shorts and a black t-shirt.. if it's really hot it can all depend, something really light and easy to wear. Don't wear anything uncomfortable because you'll be in it a long time...

Just don't wear a skirt- wear a pair of tan Bermuda shorts, or a normal pair of shorts, and a t-shirt. Don't wear shirts from Aeropostale, Hollister, or American Eagle- stick with a plain shirt and a solid shorts to blend in with the crowd. I doubt you'd get beat up- especially if you are a girl.
There are probably going to be a bunch of cigarette smokers, but nothing illegal- there are probably going to be a bunch of security people to keep the band safe, and no one wants to mess with them :-).

Well..if your wearing all pink you may get a slap. But there is security so as long as you dont go into mosh pits your pretty safe :D What to wear..hmm..nothing slutty ( i mean shorts wise) because of people there...just waer light, loose-ish fitting clithes, like a tank or something! There may be a few people smoking and all, but there wont be major drugs there@ HAVE FUN! And the time span is usually 12 hours..heh

just shorts and a tshirt. it lasts a long time, probably like, 12 to 12 or something. theres some drugs, smoking and drinking is mostly it though. if youre hot you wont get beat up unless you go in a mosh pit.

From my experience its lasted from 11AM to 11PM. Yes, it will be hot, and since you're in Milwaukee- humid too, which is even worse in my opinion. I used to live in Oshkosh but moved down to Arizona into the dry heat. Anyway, you'll want to wear shorts atleast. Especially in the crowds. There are drugs, but ive only seen weed here, not major drugs but theres so many people you never know. Bring the biggest thing of water you can find, it's expensive there, and please wear sunscreen if needed.

Shorts, a tank top (Not white because they spray freezing cold water on you) and sneakers preferably. No you won't get beat up, only if you come across people who are moshing. It can last all afternoon for like 6 hours. It's alot of fun and yes there are drugs there. At least there where when I went.

FoR clothing, I would say a tank top, and some jean shoRts. It usually last foR a good 10-12 houRs oR so. Often times people will be doing dRugs, yes. And I can almost guaRantee you that you will not be beat up if you dRess pReppy!! no woRRies!! :D
