fight
two guys tried to rape my gf when we were walking from a party. so i was in a fight with them, i knew it was a stupid move; i was out matched and out numbered, but i had to. well i manage to take one down and the other i guess just give up, but i took a good few hits, my ribs and face is like bruised up, and now my gf feels really bad about it, like it was her fault, how can i make her feel less guilty, and tell her that i dont care about a few hits in exchange for her safty? shes really sad and i that hurts more then any physical injury

tell her just that & she'll understand, most guys would do that for there girlfriend, I would for mine. She feels bad cos you got hurt saving her, & more than likely they would have killed her. So you saved her life, so she should be thankfull, & I'm shure she is, but just tell her that its not her fault & that you were willing to get hurt so she would stay alive

Let me just say I think you're an awesome boyfriend for protecting your girlfriend like that. Thats amazing!!! But as for the guilt part, I think that any girl would feel that way. She's just worried and really cares about you. If shes still going on about the guilt thing, then just keep telling her that you would never let her get hurt, and you'd do anything for her. She thinks its sweet, and she loves it. BELIEVE me. Even if she dosent come off that way I know she'll be thinking it.

Let her know that you really care about her, and would rather be beaten up than have her sexually assualted. WOW! That's so awesome. You were (as you said) outnumbered and the odds were against you - <u> but you took that chance anyway! </u> That's super sweet! Tell her exactly what you told us: <b> "You shouldn't feel bad, it wasn't your fault. You don't need to fel guilty. I don't care about a few hits in exchange for your saftey. You being sad hurts more than any physical injury." </b> I think that'll help her understand. You could find a funny poem, or write one, make up a cute song or just tell her straight up how you feel - that it wasn't her fault. But she sounds alot like me. If that happened to me, I'd feel guilty FOR SURE! I know I would... simply because the dudes weren't out to get my boyfriend, they were tryin' to get me, and my boyfriend stepped in. I'm sure that's how she feels. I betcha she's really, really, really grateful and thankful to have a sweet boyfriend like you. Tell her that you love her ♥ (or like her alot) and would gladly take a few punches for her. It's the gentleman thing to do. :) Stay cool!
