So you have two options: 1. Buy a piercing kit online, (it includes a sterilized needle, guide to pierce it correctly, cleaning correctly,....) 2.Go to a well-known Tattoo and Piercing Body shop in your area and have them do it. The second choice is alot more smart and you have a lot less of a chance of getting it infected. But if you must pierce your belly button use an actual piercing kit and read on how to pierce ahead of time. Hope this helps. Karen answered Sunday May 29 2005, 9:36 pm: I've done this a few times out of the 5 times I pierced my own belly button before I got it professionally pierced. You need to clean this 'piercing' that you did and let the hole close up. Don't try piercing it again, since the whole was not centered. Once the hole is closed up, you can use a sewing needle that is about the size of a barbel. Instead of doing this yourself, get your belly button pierced professionally because the piercers knows what they're doing. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
SoNuLiCiOuSsS answered Sunday May 29 2005, 9:08 pm: You should probably use a thick needle... make sure u put it in bleach before you use it... & i think you would do a lot better if you waited & got it done by a professional [ SoNuLiCiOuSsS's advice column | Ask SoNuLiCiOuSsS A Question ]
