Look for a department called Child welfae, child and family services, family and youth services. They may even have a hot line that is open 24 hours to report abuse. In our state Connecticut, they have a 211 line that is an info line for social services. I don't know if they have that in your state. Your state also does have a web page, and if you find that.I( it would be a .gov site. ours is www.ct.gov) THere you might be able to find the link to the department that handles social services. I know here in CT they do follow up on anonymous calls like that. so give it a try. And good for you for helping a kid in trouble. Too many people look the other way.
I know I wouldn't hesitate if I knew a child was being abused or neglected

You need to go into google, type in your state and then Child protective services after it. EX: New Jersey Child protective services. It will give you a hotline to call and just call the number. I don't believe they have a place where you could "E-mail" them on such a matter, you need to actually call. [ xXxpinky615xXx's advice column | Ask xXxpinky615xXx A Question ]
