Hi my name is jess i like this kid named Egore and i think he likes me to but the onl problem is that hes black i dont mean to sound mean but my dad says i cant date black people i mean i really like him but i dont want to disrespect him ehat shoul i do.

If you're nowhere close to 18 then defying dad isn't a good idea. Other than that bass chick is right on the money. The thing is you don't want to hack dad off to much or he may not even let you be friends. That would be bad. So, I think you need to stay friends for now at the very least. Then, when you are 18 and dad can't pick your boyfriends you can see him...if you are both still available. I don't agree with your dads way of thinking but you have to live with it while you are young. Doesn't mean you can't try to change his way of thinking...just don't jeopardize what relationship you CAN have with your friend. :)

You're dad is wrong to say that you're not allowed to date black people. You should be able to date whoever you like. It's not your dad's choice to tell you who you should and shoudln't like. It's your choice. show him that exactly. make him understand that he can't guide your life into rasism like that. Talk to him about it.If he still doesn't like what you're saying, go out with Egore. Your dad has a really racist way of thinking. Black people are just the same as white people, we just look a little different. Maybe you should make your dad watch Lion King 2, it's very anti-racist if you think about it lol. Take a stand and go out with Egore. If you like him then it doesn't matter if he's black or white.
