I was wondering, is it bad to eat cough drops even when you don't have a cough? In what ways?
Because I have a cough now, but when it's done and I don't actually need to use the cough drops, I still like to eat them. So my main question is, Could this hurt me and if so how?

It's just very expensive candy. The melting syrup and sugar is what calms your throat. They don't really work if you had a bad cold in your chest.

queenbianca2004 answered Thursday May 26 2005, 1:33 pm: it cant really hurt you. you just get so used to them that they stop helping the cold because your insides just think its a peice of candy even when you really need it. So try not to have them as much so they can help when you need them to. I hope I answered your question
