Hi i got my bellybutton done. it's doesnt hurt, it just stings but you barely feel it. they pierced mine bottom up, thats how they most likely will do. it doesnt really matter how your belly button is just as long as the ring will stay and they sort of pierce the skin above it anyways. it depends how long you keep it in varies on different people some may heal faster then others. i took mine out the first week i got it done because i wanted the ring to match my bathing suit for the pool and it never got infected. if you need Sweetiliciousx11 and skaterangel11190@aol.com hope i helped! take care! x3 SweetStar.

hey no it doesnt hurt at all. first of all you stand up and the draw where they are going to pierce. then they clamp the top part of your belly button.then they just spray it with numbing spray. you get on the bed and then they pierce it.you leave it in for about 3month. you need to clean it with salt water everyday.this can be a little bit painful.

Yes, it hurts , but only for a few seconds. Go somewhere clean with a good reputation and make shure they take the needle out of a sealed package! a clamp is a tweezer like thing with a hole in it that they clip on and pull out the skin on your belly button with to make it easier to pierce. ( not actually pull it out!) yes, you can still get it pierced with a innie/outtie. I kept mine in for a month before I changed it but you can never really take it out for long, it closes fast. Ive had mine for 2 years and I took it out for about4 hrs and I had to force it back in

it doesnt hurt that much at all! i hate pain and i had mine done. I went to Ink Wizard Tattoo parlor. what they did to me was sterilize the ring iwanted, then wiped my belly button with alcohol and i had to lay down on my back on a chair thing and then he stuck the needle through and then changed it. I only waited a week to change my ring, and then about 1 month later i left it out for like 6 hours. and i can still put it back in. Some peoples belly button bleeds when they do it, but mine didnt! you sure cna still get it done! if you need any other advise ... Ox b3aCh baBe xO is my aim screenname! and specialchick913@hotmail.com is my email. im always on the computer so ill answer pretty quick! hope thsi helped.

hey girl!
it feels like a really quick bee sting.....go to either a doctor or a CLEAN piercing parlor....they just put the needle through the skin after the clean your belly button...a clamp is this meatal thing that clamps down on your skin and take away just a little of the pain and hold the skin in place......yes you can still get it pierced.....you should keep it in for about 6 weeks....southerngirl49@houston.rr.com....ask me anything! when i got mine done it didnt hurt at all and i dont take pain very well!! lol

Karen answered Thursday May 19 2005, 5:52 pm:
I can definitely help you out here, I have my belly button pierced and I've pierced it a few times before myself. The whole piercing process does not hurt at all; the piercer didn't numb my belly button and if I had to rate the pain on a scale, I would say it's around a 2 or 3. You need to go to a body piercing parlor to get your belly button pierced and not to just a regular piercing shop. Make sure you research body piercing parlors near your area to see if they keep everything clean and such. A few body piercers either pierce your belly button from the top or from the bottom. The piercers cleans all the utensils and your belly button and then just pierces it and then explains a few things to you afterwards about how to clean the piercing and so on. A clamp looks just like a tong, except the one the piercer that pierced my belly button was in a square shape and it's used to lift up the skin to pierce your belly button. You can probably still get your belly button pierced; as long as the ring/barbel fits and your outtie doesn't have any affect on it what so ever, then it's fine. The piercer tells you to keep the ring in for 6 months but you don't have to; I took out mine after about 4-5 weeks and I then just put in another ring and cleaned it until I ran out of cleaning solution.
