Question Posted Wednesday May 11 2005, 7:30 pm

well since it's spring, and it's getting a lot warmer, I really wanna wear tank tops and halter tops, but I'm really self concious about my back. I have acne on my back, and even though I dont have a lot, I'm really scared that people might see it if I wear clothes that'll show my back. please help me.. is there anything I can do to treat my bacne?

Hey, well I used to use presction stuff and that worked but if you just find something that works thats cheap and use it everyday it will go away.

Have you ever seen the infomercial for Proactiv?
If not it is a treatment for acne. You could call and request their body wash. I guarantee it will work. I use it everyday!

i think you could just go to a local drug store (like a rite aid or CVS) and get some acne wash. i used to have mild acne on my face and i just went to a dermatologist and got 'zoderm' (a facial scrub and cream) it worked for my face, but i dont know about your back.
just look up some things on the internet or ask your mom or something...
hope i helped.

I heard about this amazing acne stuff called Proactiv. I don't know if it treats "Bacne" (LoL) but you can ask your dermatologist. My sister uses it and it works great.

Lots of luck!

My friends and i were actually talking about this yesterday. A lot of reasons you get it is from extra moisture, such as when youre taking a shower if you have longer hair and you put your conditioner in it and dont rinse your back off enough it will over moisturize. Also sweat or excess water. Try anything over the counter. Then do the dermatologist thing.

i've got the same problem, dont worry about it though. what i've done is gone to tanning beds which has helped the skin dry out, even my dermatologist reccomends it.

do proactiv! It works so good. Also, people shouldn't judge you by what you have on your back. It should more be about your personality. If they make fun of you for something as ridiculous as that you shouldn't hang out with them.
