In order to grow your hair long you have to get it cut in order to trim away the unhealthy aprt ie: the split ends. By doing this your hair will be able to continue growing healthily. You will only need a couple of centimetres off and then your hair will continue growing healthily. By leaving it to continue growing with the split ends will mean you get dry and straggly ends which will look dull and unhealthy. In between cuts, when I am washing my hair, I leave the conditioner in my hair, especially at the ends, for five minutes. this will intensly condition your hair and mean that it will take longer for you to get split ends which is good. Hope I have helped a little

I had the same problem. I had really bad dead ends really bad cause i didnt cut my hair for a year cause i wanted it long. I used Garnier Fructis( Sleek and shine) Work great my hair is so soft and its coming back really nice. I got a trim too and got some layers to help get them gone. But they wouldnt have left with out that stuff. Try it if you havnt its good!!! Let me no if it works.

Love,
Sweetie Pie Ashley

split ends can be such a pain..cant they!?

i dont really know of any particular product that really works on getting rid of your split ends, but i do know of a great product to make them look better. garnier fructis smoothing milk helps smooth down your hair and not make your split ends frizz out. just apply it in your hair when damp, then blowdry your hair.

hope i helped <3
