How do I start a conversation with a guy I barely know? I know some things about him, but how do I start talking to him without sounding like a complete goof-ball. I just want to be comfortable, so that I can talk to him. Please help me!!

Just start talking about anything. If he likes you he will help you and make it easy for you. Just talk about school. and what teachers hes got and what hes upto usual stuff.

well if he plays sports ask him when one of his games are coming up & say you hear they have been practicing really hard this season and are thinking of going out and seeing them. if hes in one of your classes then ask him if you can borrow his notes or for some help with your homework. find out about something he likes and bring it up in a conversation some how like asking him about it so the conversation will last longer.

I know the absolute perfect way to start this. just give him a complement about something, especially if he's being goofy about something. like if his hair is all messed up or something, just say "nice hair" and smile really big. it might not start a conversation right then but it will probably help him notice you a little bit more so that you have more of a chance of talking later. :)
