is it more than just a friendship?

Question Posted Friday May 6 2005, 5:51 pm

15/f something tragic happened to someone who is friends with a good friend of mine, a 15 year old male, who told me about it. well, my good friend was really bummed and about to cry, it was really bad what happened. anyways, it felt right at the moment, so i gave him a hug, and he held me so tight and it felt really good, it made me feel safe and secure. i really wanted to kiss him, but i didnt. i dont know if it was because of what happened, or if it is because i like him but dont know it that i felt this way today. the thing is, he is my ex and tried to get me back and i said i thought we would be better off as just friends. but i'm not sure if thats how i feel anymore... what do you guys think?

I think you need to talk with him. Maybe go out and see if feelings are still there. :)

It sounds like you do have feelings for the boy. I think you should tell him how you're feeling about him, you shouldn't let a chance like this pass you by. Be there for him, while he's down and such. Always be there to make him smile and give him lots of hugs to make him happy. When you feel like he's doing a little better, just explain to him how much you like him. Tell him you were confused when you said you "just wanted to be friends." Explain that now, since you guys been hanging out, the feelings started coming back. Maybe ask him to the movies, then see where it goes from there. But, never hold back from telling someone how you feel about them. You never know what could happen if you did tell them, they just might feel the same way.
