There's this guy, and he said he was going to ask me to the dinner dance(like prom for 8th graders), but he thought I was too good for him, and I told him that I really wasn't, and that I would love to go with him, and then said that if he didn't want to it was fine, and now I'm confused. Did I say something wrong? and was he just saying that because he knew I wanted to be asked?
karenR answered Thursday May 5 2005, 2:09 pm: I don't know. Go ask him...are we going to the dinner dance together or not? I think he was confusing enough for you to ask to be certain. I don't think you said anything wrong. Maybe leave the if you don't want to thats fine off next time. But that isn't saying something wrong. Go ask him for sure. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
Evikins answered Thursday May 5 2005, 11:43 am: Lol ... You didn't say ne thing wrong, Maybe you looked desperate to be asked (just jokin'). Ne how's maybe YOU should ask him. I think he's just not so sure of himself thats why he's confused ya. Maybe he really thinks you are too good for him, (which you should be happy about).
Good luck. [ Evikins's advice column | Ask Evikins A Question ]
