Okay, here's where it starts... about a month ago, I hurt my foot on a friend's trampoline. I think I hurt that tendon (sp?) at the bottom of my foot. It hurt so bad. Now my foot is fine, but if I walk long distances, it hurts really bad! It doesn't really do that if I run (Unless I run a lot in a short period of time). Could I have messed up my foot somehow? And if so, what can I do? Thank you in advance!
Good job. How do you hurt your foot on a trampoline anyways? Those are meant to be jumped up and down on. Maybe next time you play trampoline you should super glue your feet to the trampoline. [ shake's advice column | Ask shake A Question ]
JANiCE1004 answered Tuesday May 3 2005, 8:42 pm: you could have just pulled a tendon in your foot. i did that in soccer a few years ago and it KiLLS. or you might have a stress fracture. go to the doctor and ice it definitly. but if you've lasted a month then its probably not that bad [ JANiCE1004's advice column | Ask JANiCE1004 A Question ]

Try to elevate it until you can get to a doctor and put ice on it occasionally. Try working it out though you can't just keep it stationary it'll get stiff and will be harder to use if you need to.
Daisy answered Sunday May 1 2005, 7:25 am: If you have damages a tendon or muscle in your foot, they take much longer to heal. Have you tried going to the doctor? If not then when you know you are going to walk lond distances try wearing some kind of bandage support and the right footwear. [ Daisy's advice column | Ask Daisy A Question ]

AdInA answered Sunday May 1 2005, 1:17 am: go see a doctor silly! and do it as soon as you can, because if you don't do anything about it, it can get worse! and if you want it to get better, you will probably have to stop working out on it so much! it's going to suck, but wouldn't you much rather walk long distances without it hurting even if you have to sit around for a few days, then to keep walking long distances with a big pain in your foot? yeah.. well you definately need to see a doctor because it could be serious!
