Discharge is what a girl gets before she starts her period. and i think it last most of her life. It usually comes about 1 or 2 years before the girl starts her period. Everyones periods are different my friends started early i started late. Its just the way your body is dont worry you will soon.

Every girl gets this-it is perfectly normal. I don't know how old you are but you usually get your period around the same time as when your mum got it so ask her if you can. You are growing up and this is just a normal phase at the moment.

XoxBroKeNxoX answered Thursday April 28 2005, 8:42 pm:
Its normal to get a discharge everyday. This is the normal way for your body to cleanse your vagina (hehe).. The color can be..umm.. clear, whitish or like lightish yellow; with..a..slight..odor..mm.. It begins a year or so before you start to menstruate and lasts for most of your life. Some days during yer period the discharge is wet and liquidy, other days it is thick and ropy. If you don't like the way it feels or you want to protect your undies, try wearing a pantiliner each day. The pantiliner will absorb the vaginal discharge and help you feel fresh and dry. Yay!
